Hi everyone, new guy here and i need some help.
Currently using an iphone 4 but i want to switch to either a Lumia 720 or Lumia 925 still can't decide.
Ok so my questions

1. Will wp8.1 work on devices with 512mb?
2. Some reviewers, including wpcentral video, say the L620 display is better than the L720. Is this true? L720 has IPS LCD vs TFT LCD for the L620. I thought IPS was superior to TFT?
3. How does the display on the L720 compared to the iphone4? Will i be dissappointed with the 720's display? I have seen the 620's display. Is the 620 display similar to 720's? I don't play games i mostly browse on the internet, emails and maybe some youtube videos.
4. Which screen is better in the sunlight, L720 or L925? Btw i compared my iphone4 and the L620 in direct sunlight and the L620 just blew away the iphone4!
5. How much better is the 925's display vs the 720's? Is it worth the extra $$ for the 925?
Thanks!

Welcome to WPCentral forum !

I am a Lumia 720 user. Honestly, it's a great device, the only thing I heard people disappointed most is about the video recording and the screen resolution.
Ok, actually video recording is OK, and reason people compliant about it is because it can't record video in 1080p. It does in 720p. But it doesn't matter too much for me as I am not an avid video recorder.

Second, about the screen, I bet you it's great. Really great. It has IPS LCD screen. People complaint because it has WVGA 800x480 not HD 1280x768 screen. But still, I myself found the screen is great, readable and have best sunlight readability although pixel sometimes still can be seen. Though can't say much about 620 and 925 screen as I do not own them.

Overall, L720 is a great device to consider if you are looking for a midrange device.

So to answer your questions :
1. I am not sure about this but as far as I heard and know, WP8.1 will be coming to all current WP8 devices.
2. Have stated above and can't say much about 620 and 925 display as I do not own them.
3. Answered too. You will not be disappointed.
4. I think all Lumia lineup are the best when it come to sunlight readability.
5. Can't say much as I do not own 925. But bear in mind, 925 has 1gb ram and 720 has 512 ram. So, if you prefer not to play games and want to save a little money, should go for L720.

thank you qillerz! i did see the 620 and 625 and the display looks very good for me. according to some reviewers the 720 display is better than both the 620 and 625 so i think i might get the 720.

Get Lumia 925,if it's within your budget
i'm not sure i like the looks of the 925. the camera sticks out a bit and when you type when the phone is on your desk does it move around? the unibody of the 720 looks very robust whereas the 925's got aluminum and polycarbonate. some reviewers say the back flexes a bit?
