Dropped my phone at the gym, about a 2 foot drop. I had been playing music (battery at about 40%). When I picked up my phone the screen was blank. I assumed it turned off, and held down the power key to turn it on. I felt the vibrate that indicated startup, and the the windows key, search button and back button lit up, but the screen did not turn on. Since, I've attempted several soft resets, and while the vibrations and the lighting up of the windows key would indicate that the soft resets are happening, the screen still refuses to turn on. I looked around online and it appears my best option would be a hard reset, however I'm a little hesitant to do this. Has anyone encountered anything like this or have any potential solutions? I can hard reset if I have no other option, but I'd prefer not to.

Find a disassemble video for your Phone, if the screen doesn't turn on, why the hell would you ever think some software reset will fix it? The display connector might have gone loose, so check that.
