Help! Problems with photos

So my 1520 didn't upload my pics to Onedrive for some odd reason even though it was on wifi. Then I started to add these photos manually to my PC via USB. I noticed that every single pic was there twice (5MP pic and 16MP) and I thought that I don't need these low res pics so I deleted them out of my phone. That was stupid decision indeed since now I cannot open the 16MP JPEG pics either... Why? Is there any way of fixing this issue and recover my photos? :/ And nope, these 5MP pics aren't in Trash bin. I'm so frustrated of my stupidity :/

If you have DNG file you can view them in your pc. Use software like photoshop or anyother.
