When I bought my 950 XL I was shocked on how it gets hot very fast, also battery life was disappointing.

After some experimenting with the phone settings and W10M releases, I've decided to try switching to different firmware and different package/product code.

My original firmware was RM-1085 VAR EURO 1X CV BLACK (01078.00053.16236.35035).
Firmware i switched to is RM-1085 VAR EURO A6 CV BLACK (01078.00053.16236.35022).

After flashing my 950 XL with A6 package it finally started working as expected. My phone is not hot anymore, and battery life drastically improved.

I'm very satisfied Lumia 950 XL user now. :)

I'm running your same original .35035 version; yes - at first my phone ran hot and drained battery, but that was while i was syncing all my pics/music/apps etc. Now that it's settled down, it runs cool, and battery life is better than i expected....no need for me to change firmware...i'm very pleased with this phone!
