how can i add gmail account in windows phone 10?

how can i possibly add my gmail account and its live tile in windows phone 10 preview like i used to add in 8.1?
please provide detailed steps

On start screen swipe to the left to the app list.
Open the Outlook mail app
Tap on the hamburger menu in the left top corner
Tap then on the setting wheel in the right bottom corner
Under the setting page tap on accounts
And then on + account
And then on Google
Now you can add your google account.

But i do not know if you get a live tile.

If you can not find it in the store then I guess you need to do a Hard Reset.
(I by the way can not find it in the store.)

Harrie-S is correct. If you removed it (why did you do that!?!?!) then you have to do a hard reset. No way around it.

yes, it can be.

1. open outlook app
2. go to all accounts
3. long press on account -> pin to start

Well
1) Go to the Outlook
2) On the left top Corner press the three lines.
3) Now on the right hand side bottom you would see setting icon
4) click Setting icon
5) Click Account, you should be able to see Gmail and you may click

The other option is
1) Go to the Outlook
2) On the left top Corner press the three lines.
3) Click Account
4) You should be able to choose Gmail or Hotmail

You could also add a new mail account here

I got my two account (gmail and 365) both pinned to the start screen, but there the same Outlook icon and I cant tell them apart without going into them. Is this by design or did I screw something up?

I like in 8.1 they were two different icons.

I have already signed in to my microsoft account but i want to add my gmail account to receive mails. I tried adding the account but its showing that my browser is not supporting this features i have upgraded my phone to windows 10 recently what should i do to link both my accounts.

I'm having this same issue, I tried changing edge to desktop mode but I'm still getting the same error about supported browsers.

I find a way:
Create an Exchange account with domain: google and server: m.google.com
First it doesn't work, then, go to your account via another device, you should have received a mail saying a connexion attempt had been blocked, follow the setting link and allow connexion from less secure app (or something like that, I'm french, I don't exactly know the terms used in English).
Then it should work (I'm not sure, I had deleted my account before noticing the mail, then created it again, do that if it do not update).

BUT, it seems pictures don't load :/
I didn't succeed to make it work throught IMAP/POP, but someone could be better than me about that way.

Edit:
For POP/IMAP:
Go to advanced configuration (the last one when creating a new account)
Select the second one, email on internet IMAP/POP
Enter your email adress
for user, same email adress
password
Choose the name you want to give to the account
Name used to send mail
Incoming mail adress: imap.google.com or pop.google.com (you should activate one of them in your gmail settings on the web)
select the type according to the one choose before
Outgoing mail adress: smtp.google.com

It should be working, with picture loading. But no calendar/contacts.

Google playing games, it happened at least once before in April and then magically cleared up after some time.

Why should we create a new exchange account if I have a working Microsoft account. And even after creating new exchange account if it not working for calendar/contacts whats the use of creating it.
