How can I install apps via WP store (desktop) site?

installing apps via WP store (desktop) site

ever since the WP phone store merged with the windows store, it lost the feature to install apps via the windows/miscrosoft website

are there other ways to install apps using the website? and not downloading through your phone? thanks!
