Installing apps without SD card

Hi,

So today I saw a website (http://www.wpxbox.com/installing-apps-sd-card-just-got-better-windows-phone-8-1/) with information saying that on Windows Phone 8.1 we can install local apps even without SD cards.
I have a Lumia 930 with Cyan.
Ok, so my question is: Is there new info about this on Windows 10?

I mean. It worked copying .xap and appxbundle files, but only when I copied both using a computer and putting them on the root folder.
The .appxbundle file only was detected when I copied it alone.

Is there a word from Microsoft about this feature? Is there an explanation for why it only works when copied using a PC?
