how can i make the top info bar (signal strength, time, battery ...) make alsways visible

when opening apps or scrolling down the Start Screen, the top bar is not shown. can i deactivate this feature to make signal strength, new notifications, battery and time always visible?

os: windows 10 mobile @ Lumia 640 xl

While the status bar doesn't hide while scrolling down the Start screen, there's no such option to stop it from hiding on opening certain apps. It's up to the app's developer to decide whether or not to hide the bar. Meanwhile, some apps have inbuilt option to chose to hide or show the bar.

thank your for the quick reply. you're right, it's not vanishing, but it gets transparent and is mixed with the transparent tiles ... i never recognized this.
