How can I stop my Lumia 930 screen jumping?

Lumia 930 Screen jumping

Hello Everyone.

Before 2 hours my Lumia 930 Phone screen started jumping making it impossible to unlock. Also when I somehow managed to go into the menu it behaved like it was pressing some keys automatically going into menus and stuff. I thought it was some screen damage issue, so I cleaned it - still no result. I believe it is worth mentioning that when the issue occurred my battery was critically low. Do you have any ideas ?

Sounds just like the issues reported when someone uses a cheap e-bay screen replacement. Are you sure this was a new phone and not a used one? If you have only had it for 2 hours it should go straight back to the shop.

I have the phone for around 3 months now. It is new bought from a retailer. It just started happening today.

I would try a soft reset and if that doesn't resolve it a hard reset.

Hi Charlatan.

Tried both - no luck ... Even tried the Windows Phone Recovery Tool and preinstalled to the latest firwmare (which I had). I guess I will need a replacement...

Sounds like it. Just bad luck I suppose. Loving my 930 which has been very reliable so good luck.
