How can I turn off the pop-up blocker?

I am not able to open important websites due to the pop ups getting blocked, there is no option in the Internet Explorer to turn off pop-up blocker and this results into blank pages appearing on the browser. Pop-ups were working fine when my Lumia device was updated with Cyan, the Denim update stops me from opening various websites.
Please help.

I can not belief that important websites do not show up "without" pop-ups.
But anyhow.
Open IE, push the 3 dots ... , go to settings, go to "advanced settings", switch off "Use SmartScreen filter to help ...", set " Cookies from websites" to "allow all".

I'd try clearing my browser history in IE settings and manage storage in IE settings advanced...

Also a Soft Reset might help. Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons until the phone vibrates and reboots (about 10 seconds).
