How do I change the mail password on Surface when changed on another machine?

Changed my Yahoo mail password and now the auto load Mail App on the Surface won't work. Says wants to confirm it is me, tap here but that does not work. Tried the settings, account path but because the password is wrong, cannot get to the account to do anything. Help!

Assuming Win10. Assuming default Mail app. Assuming software updates complete.
When I right-click on my account and click Account Settings, it gives me "Change account settings". It says I can change my password here.
Not ideal, but you can always remove the account and re-add it.
