How do I download a cab to my tilt?

I'm sorry for the stupid question here but I'm a brand new user (Palm traitor) of HTC and I've stumbled on all these "cabs" that look real interesting...the stupid question is what do I do after I've downloaded a cab to my desktop? How do I get it to the phone? Where do I place it, and then what??

Cabs are compressed executable installation files, and are meant to be run directly from the phone. You can download them directly to your phone, or copy them via Activesync, and then run them directly.

To copy them, on your desktop look under My Computer>My Mobile device.

To run them on your phone, use the file explorer and look under My device>My documents and just tap on the cab.

Alternatively you can install this app on your desktop, and then just right-click on the cab and chose install via Activesync
