How do I fix the sim on my Nokia Lumia 530?

how do i fix the sim on my nokia lumia 530?

I inserted a different sim in my phone and had difficulty getting it out. When I reinserted the right sim the phone wont recognize it at all.
I am not sure if I have damaged the 'prongs' or the connections

Try with other SIM card, if that doesn't work probably you broke the prong. I did it myself and the fact that I have to change the main board for a broken prong is really shocking. End up using my phone as a single SIM phone (it was dual SIM version)

Yep, I think you'll need hardware repair. Most likely just replacing the main/motherboard. Or you'll have to use it as-is. Something must've gotten caught or something. Those prongs never really inspired confidence in me, with any phone.

For me the new main board cost 60% of the new phone, if you get the same price, it's not worth it. It's just 1mm of broken prong .
