How do I get my phone off of a black screen?

Stuck on black screen

I just started updating to Windows 10. On the Insider page I click on the button to start, it asked me to reboot, I clicked on ok. But now my computer won't turn on again. I'm stuck on a black screen (actually it's not a black screen, it says "no signal" on my monitor). I waited over 15 minutes and nothing's happening... Any ideas what could have happened? And how to fix it?

Ok, so I tried to reboot (holding the start button for 5 seconds), still got on the no signal screen, tried it again and it booted properly... Still on Windows 8.1, but now Windows Update is showing me an update available for Win 10 TP, so everything's good I guess. I'm not sure I understand what happened there, but as long as it's working again I'm happy!

Im stuck too in the black screen, but it hasnt worked for me rebooting. :c

Got the same problem, with the black screen... Reboot does noet work for me either?

I had this problem in the previous built (not the latest one). Not sure if it was the same.
In my case, I dual-booted Windows 10 with Windows 8.1.
After installing the latest updates and restart, a blank screen with a mouse pointer appear.

What I did was
1. divide the screen by mind into four squares.
2. Click somewhere in the left lower square. Try clicking different places
3. Windows will boot to Windows 8.1
4. Run msconfig.exe (system configuration)
5. Choose "Boot" > Select Windows 8.1 and click "Set as default"
6. Click "Apply", "OK" and restart.

The problem might be different in your cases. Try it if you want.
