How do I get rid of the side search bar that pops up every few minutes on windows 10?

It pops up on the left side of my screen every few minutes and is so annoying. It also pops up during games I'm playing and bumps me off the game.

Are you talking about the taskbar maybe? What device do you see this behavior on?

Check for stuck keys on your keyboard...

Windows + C opens Cortana in listening mode and Windows + S opens Cortana in type mode.
