Windows Central Question

I just switched to a 950 from an 830. One the 830 I could delete pictures from my phone as soon as they uploaded to One Drive and all was well. With the 950 the following caution appears when you select pictures to delete from the phone:

Delete these?
This will include copies here and on OneDrive

I tested it and sure enough the test picture was gone from OneDrive as well as the phone and this happened as well if I moved the picture to a different folder on OneDrive after it uploads. Is there a setting on the 950 I am missing?

what about the one that says show or don't duplicates? Or don't show copies in onedrive - something of the sort

Here are screenshots of options under Photo settings. Seems not to matter which position the slider switch is in, photos still delete from the One Drive.

I dont have that issue but I dont have camera upload enabled. Try turning that off and also deleting from the file explorer app. Test photos of course.

In order to store them in onedrive and delete from the phone but not onedrive, you need to sign out of the photos app (tap your name after tapping the ellipses, but make sure not to remove your account from the phone, just the app). After that go into the onedrive app and make sure the camera auto-upload is still enabled.
