How do I unfreeze my phone?

I was playing music on spotify just before I paused it, while still on the lock screen, and then pressed the lock button. When I came back to use my phone, somehow it had come up with the loading dots that slide across the screen, except they are frozen. The normal symbols the phone displays are still at the top of the screen such as time and battery, except frozen of course. The back, home and search buttons just below the screen are alight too.

Press Volume Down and Power (unlock) button simultaneously and keep it pressed for about 5-10 sec until you feel the vibration. Let it restart and then use as normal.

Press and hold the power button and volume-down button together until you feel the phone vibrate.

Of course, you DID use an internet search engine to find the answer yourself. Didn't you? After all, you're not a lazy person...
