How to view photos in Excel on Windows Phone 8.1

Hello,

whenever i open an attachment on my phone in Excel, the pictures do not come up.

Anyone found a solution?

Nope, office needs to be updated and seems it won't be before W10. Although pictures of Lumia640 shows new office suite, we may be get it with 8.1 GDR2, if it comes to our phones.

Yeah, I loved the idea of having full office suite on my phone and got ...well... That's thing that makes me mad with WP.

yes i know, and imagine if excel and word were of different company! They are owned by MS for god sake, and they behave better on Android!

Actually, they don't. On Android devices, typically phones, they have the same functionality that we have.

but i can see pictures on excel in Android devices... Am i using another program? I cant remember to be honest, i dont have it with me...

Surely you mean charts, something that WP can display unless you have some weird formatting. Why would you use Excel to view pictures anyway?

While it's not common, I do have some Excel documents with photos in them, like directories with pictures of each person.

Even so, why would you store a directory in Excel when there are much better solutions?

It's for small groups, like church classes and social groups. I don't know what else we would use.

Hello,

i receive quotations continiously (due to my work) on excels.
Half of the files are on PDF and others are on excel.

Here i have two problems:
- In excel i cannot see the photos in order to see what price corresponds to what item. And i need to either use my Android tablet or open my PC.
- In PDF i have the problem that i cannot save the file and forward it on... For a strange reason this is so complicated on Windows! Why cant we simply save it to our SD card, and then select the file and attach it in an email?
