how long does windows edge store my brower histoy and can i change the lenght

I liko use windows edge to browsers the internet, but my internet history is only showing 2 weeks and I need to store was internet history can this be done on edge or do I have to go back to used explorer.

Hi, on Windows 10 mobile my history goes back to 23rd June 2016.
On my desktop it goes back to 3rd May.
