How long until next gen devices?

I don't mean the Lumia 920 generation. When will the next set of phones after the upcoming ones be released? Is it around 6 or 9 months between generations?

Depends on the OEM. Some, like Nokia, are likely to just expand the carrier/regions that get the 920. Others, like HTC, often replace their devices with a v2 replacement.
