How many Windows Phone 7.x users are here?

Are you mad about not getting apps on your Windows Phone 7.x ?

Do you like people said on forums and post bad think about Windows phone 7.x users? Like when they try to shut up us on blogs, comments...

We need to know how many users we are here!!!!! So comment please!
I didn't like the fact that I was denied Apollo (had bought Lumia800). I didn't like the terrible battery life I had had before the relevant patch arrived.

About a week ago I got a chance to upgrade and I did. I bought Galaxy Note 2 and wow! WOW!!!! Alpha testing over, Microsoft! I don't think I will ever again but a WinPhone!! BTW: Microsoft had had left behind my other devicebefore (I bought a HTC HD2). I don't think they will ever leave me behind again.

Until the update comes for my 820, I still use my Focus S during the week for the FM radio while I'm at work. Also in a side by side comparison of photos, my Focus S still takes better pics then the 820. And my old N8 puts them both to shame. (wish I could put WP on the N8)

3 LG Quantum's here in our family all on 7.5 with AT&T. The contracts are up on 2 of them are up already and mine comes up next month so we're eligible for upgrades. My son is ready to upgrade to the 920 as he doesn't mind the virtual keyboard but my wife and I are old school and would prefer a physical keyboard. At least for me, I've found that I'm no where as fast or accurate with the virtual keyboard even with auto-correct.

There are a few apps or features that would get me to update anyway but which aren't available even on WP8 - VPN and custom text alerts are the primary ones.

Even though I made the switch to android with the arrival of the GS4 to my job last week, I still will hang onto my Sammy focus flash for picture taking and emergency backup.

Its a shame Microsoft is quick to diss their long time customers.

Mad, no. I would like a firmware update for my focus flash though. And no WP8 doesn't have wireless syncing that I happen to enjoy. This phone is still more snappy then most of the android users around me and I'm happy I purchased a product that i continue to be happy with.

Currently using a Lumia 710 running 7.8. I don't at all get irritated/mad about new 7.x apps, I'm happy for WP8 as a platform and that it's getting a bunch of quality apps. I even purchased my Lumia knowing that WP8 was coming, I disliked my android device that much!

I'm still on an HTC HD7. It's a bit of a bummer to miss out on some of the apps and not to have any attention really paid to my device.
That said, I'm currently planning on holding out until Blue, if possible, so I'm not that bothered obviously.

I'm on a Lumia 900, and even though I should've waited the month or two to get a 920, I'm still happy with my purchase. A part of me is glad I didn't wait because of all the debacle that everyone is saying about Xbox music. Unless those are just the minority? :P I'm still rooting for WP though and am looking forward to see what "Blue" or whatever it is called will put on the table.

I'm a 7.8 user and that was pretty much by choice. I really did wanted a Lumia 800 just on the basis that it's stunning and that I had a fascination for WP since the early days and I felt the 800 was the first Lumia and it was the beginning of something really special and I just had to have one. I like WP8 and I know more exclusive apps will appear over the coming weeks but I don't think I'll be switching soon. I'm sure in a few months when I'm ready to move on some really cool hardware will be out and I'll be able to say I had the first ever Nokia Windows Phone for the rest of my life.

More to what the author of this post was saying, more people still have 7,x devides compared to Windows Phone 8 and we still want some of the good software and some of us bought our devices not so long ago and even though software is sometimes like that, we are still no second class citizens.

Much Love!

i just got an lg optimus with windows 7.5 on it about a month ago.

lg optimus 7, will use until MS drops official support for it. (mid 2014 is when security updates will stop being guaranteed).

I am currently still using my HTC HD7 on Windows 7.8. I have it until next march but pretty happy with it still.

I just recently purchased a Lumia 900 and am waiting for it to be delivered. I had an HD7 about 2 years ago so I am not as up on my WP apps. What are some of the more important apps that are not supported on 7.8? Just wondering what to expect for my Lumia.

i love my L800. It's just... Updates splash in so quick that it makes me wonder if whether there'll still be updates for 7.x users. 'coz its a bit sad to see 7.8 being left behind that quick.

I'm a unhappy HTC HD7 owner who tried over and over to update from 7.5 to 7.8 tried every way and everything and pissed.

Try restoring your phone back to factory settings then re-do the update procedure? Idk, it worked for my phone.

Same exact boat as you, I've had my HTC HD7 for over 2 years now, stuck on a 3 year contract which ends in March. I'm planning on switching carries though when it ends, or gets close enough to be willing to pay out the contract.
