How stable is Windows 10?

I say it's fine, especially if you perform a clean install of Windows 10. That would wipe everything out on your PC, but it'll give you a glimpse of what Windows 10 is truly like. Plus, of you ever have any issues, install the next build's ISO and perform a clean install, and everything would pretty much work again. That's what I'm doing as we speak. I was on build 10074 and windows update got corrupted and the lock screen was stuck on one image (I couldn't change it). So I am booting my Surface from USB with build 10130 ISO mounted on it, and I'm performing a clean install. Even if you're not technically inclined, you can learn a lot about how to operate around Windows and whatnot by being a part of this program.

Build 10074 is brutal on my older HP laptop. Problem with the touchpad driver causing constant crashes, slow as a sloth, etc. I'm trying to install 10130, now hoping for a better experience..

Build 10074 was by far the worst build ever in terms of stability and overall functionality. Build 10130 is miles better 😊

Yes but I, accidentally, touched the touchpad and crashed the system. After all, it is a laptop. It's pretty bad that this has been around for so long.

Probably best to disable the track pad, install different drivers for it or roll back the Technical Preview then.

Build 10074 worked very well for me but I have had a few crashes in the days since I upgraded to 10130 don't know why it's crashing though.

Back to windows 8.1 for me -- RDP is broken. Sleep issues which corrupted my hard disk .. no thanks.. I'm done!!

I am worried that come July 29th MS will deliver one hot mess to the world -- Windows 10 is clearly not ready .. unless they have much more advanced builds they're keeping internal

No doubt there will be builds they are working on that are much more stable, there will no doubt be some niggles but I'm confident it will be good. Everything is working almost perfectly for me :)
