I really want to disable them.
It is a pain I have to manually remove them.
As of now......scenario :
I log in and see my envelope icon has a "4" next to it.
I click it > find out I have 2 at New Mentions and 2 at New Post Quotes.
So, I click the New mentions.
Then I click the New post Quotes.
Then, back to main page. And, thank God !! my envelope icon is cleared.
I really want NOT to do that.
