How to disable the Music app renaming my songs and replacing my artwork?

Running WP8.1 with the latest update of the Music app on Lumia 520. I put all my music (mp3's and wma's) on my micro sd card and put it in. Now, several of my songs have the wrong song and/or album titles, and/or incorrect artwork.

Any way to fix this? If not, are there any decent, free alternatives? Thanks!
