How to get rid of "New" flag in Win 10 start menu

In Win 7 it was quick and easy to tell Windows you didn't want it flagging everything new in your start menu with the "New" flag next to its name. However, I can't seem to find this setting in Windows 10. Having to open every program/document/etc... is a pain to get rid of that flag. Can anybody point me to where I can turn that off? I'm hoping its somewhere easy and I've just missed it every time I looked.
