How to pair the lumia 950 xl with amazon fire stick

Basically as the title says im looking for help on how to connect the two because ive attempted with the connect tab from the drop down menu but with no joy.

Apparently the Fire Stick is not the best device for miracast after doing a bit of research.

It's mostly compatible with an Android device but apparently works best with Amazon stuff.

For me it worked on L930 and 8.1 but now on W10 and L950XL I never managed to connect. Maybe someone has connected successfully?
