How to pin Outlook Calendar to start screen? Build 10536

I just recently took the plunge for the first time and overall I find Win 10 to be running well on my 1520. I came from 8.1 GDR2.

However I seem to be able to pin the calendar to the start. I can find it in the all apps menu but the pin to start is inactive as I think it feels that it is already pinned.

has anybody seen this or have an idea on how to rectify short of a hard reset?

I had the same problem with 10512 and 10536. A soft reset fixed the problem on 10512 but I still had many other problems. A fresh hard reset without backup restore after 10536 fixed ghost mail and calendar tile issues among many others.
