How to play mp3 and video stored in Memory Card

My Girlfriend bought a 720 shifting from a Samsung feature phone, she have sd cards with mp3 songs and video songs collection. She regularly asks that how to access those as there is no file manager.
And I don't have windows phone. So please instruct me then only I could help her.

my understand is that the app moliplayer will play videos and mp3's stored on a memory card

Any songs or videos saved in the memory card can be played with any of the available music players. Music+Videos can access both. Please do keep a note that mkv, flv etc files are not natively supported. Third party apps like Moli-player can play them.

as far as music goes though, the built in music player should play these off the memory card, not sure about videos though

The built in video player will play a 3gp video as well as an mp4, if you don't see them in the video/music hub try hooking up to your computer and drag and drop them on to the phones internal memory, Moli player App should be able to pick these up from the memory card though
