How to stop Windows 10 TP from installing?

My 830 ATT US version skipped right over 8.1 update 2, and downloaded the 10 TP, how do I delete it and not update, I don't want it to install that, been there done that. Has anyone figured this out short of a reset? This is so frustrating. I got my phone perfect finally

I think you can delay it by selecting LATER or NOT NOW when it tries on reboot. A friend of mine did that for a few MONTHS when 8.1 came out, hehe.

That's what I am doing, I keep changing the time forward, not an ideal solution though, lol...

Switch to slow ring no build for it so it won't install anything

It was on slow ring, that's where the update came from. It downloaded 9941.12498

Enroll your self again i enrolled twice and now w10 update notification is gone

So, lesson learned. ATT 830 goes straight to 10 TP on both the fast and slow ring, and won't catch the update 2.

The reason phones goes to GDR2 was a mix in Microsoft servers it was not meant to be distributed through windows insiders app

Same lesson was learned here. I tried to get the GDR2 update, but instead it went right to WP10. I already have WP10 on my 635, it's not going to work for my daily phone. I got tired of continually hitting 'don't install', so I did a hard reset. Start all over. I have seen a link for installing GDR2 without getting WP10 here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/wi...stalling-wp-8-1-update-2-lumia-devices**.html , but I haven't done it yet.
