HTC 8X Wireless Charging Mod?

Hi everyone,

So I know that the HTC 8x doesn't have wireless charging except for the Verizon models (stupid Verizon always making things difficult :asleep, but I was wondering if it would be possible to make a charging mod for the other carrier models.

Essentially, would it be possible to take an Unlocked, unbranded HTC 8x and a Verizon HTC 8x, and swap the backplates?

Or, perhaps more ambitiously, would it be possible to take the charging coil from the great Palm Pre backplate and put it in the phone?

People say to not put in the the pre wireless charging, but if you put it in from the verizon 8x to other 8x's, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
