I have a 8xt currently running 8.10.12397.895 and can confirm the rebooting randomly occurs if you leave WiFi on and are on battery.
If WiFi is off, no problems.
Yesterday I had wi-fi enabled (in order to upload some photos). I forgot to turn it off and the phone rebooted on me in the middle of a call with a client.
Scott.
I'm still having reboot problems with WiFi on and the latest updates. It's unfortunate. I hoped they would have fixed it by now. With WiFi off I haven't had a reboot in months.
After the latest update, my phone randomly reboots (max once per day, on average twice or thrice per week) even if Wi-Fi is off. I even sometimes find that Wi-Fi is on even though I never turned it on, and Wi-Fi Sense is also off.
Wish there was even a workaround. One that didn't involve leaving my wireless network unsecured.
Well technically there is... if I ever REALLY need to use Wi-Fi, I have to enable it, do whatever I need to do, disable it, and restart my phone![]()
So, you don't have a wi-fi router that has a 'Guest' mode login? Open router that requires a password via IE?
