HTC One M8 Video Calling App

Under phone setting there is an option to add a video calling app. The box is grayed out and says no compatible app, even with Skype installed. When you click to add an app it suggests Skype and asks to download it, but again I already have it installed.

Still looking for some help, googling the problem brings me to my/this OP

When I'm in a call and the Video Call icon shows ready, I click it and it tells me to download an app, Skype is already installed.

Interesting, my box is grayed out also but says Skype in it. Make sure the individual Skype info is in each contact in your address book, it works for the contacts I have.

The problem is the phone does not even see Skype, it keeps telling me to download an app.
