I can not send email from Outlook 2016 desktop application.

Windows Central Question

I receive emails, I can send from my webmail and phone with no issues but can't from my desktop. I have tried the sfc /scannow method suggested earlier on this forum and it still does not work. Can anyone help?
 
Hi and welcome to Windows Central.

What type of email account are you using on desktop Outlook 2016? Is it outlook.com, Gmail, your ISP's email (if so, which ISP), Exchange? Are you using 2-step authentication? Please let us know more details so that we may assist you with the proper incoming/outgoing server settings.
