I can't delete photos from favourites

I've finally got 8.1 on my 620 but all of the photos that were in Favorites have been duplicated. If I hold down and delete as soon as I change album and go back they all reappear! Is there any way round this? Thanks in advance.

On Sd card?
It doesnt matter.
Uncheck the favorite pictures first.
Then copy everything to your pc/laptop or whatever.
Then delete al the images from your phone ( with help of your pc/laptop ).
Reboot the phone, check if its realy gone.
If yes, than place the images back.
