I deleted almost everything but I only have 6gb available!

My mom gave me this laptop 2 months ago and even though its maximum storage space is only 27.8 gb I immediately filled it with some apps(bad idea)
I downloaded NBA2k13(im poor af), some video editors, vlc, some movies, adobe creative cloud, and blue stacks. My laptop began to slow down so i transferred my NBA to my flash drive then I deleted the original one. Nothing much happened so decided to start over and deleted all of my documents, pictures and basically everything mentioned above. But I only have 6GB available even after even after deleting everything that I downloaded/created!!! Please someone help me !!!!!!!!!!!!

Uninstall programs that you don't need
Uninstall apps that you don't use
Run disk cleanup
