Well I stopped into a T-mobile store today just to look at the windows phones, still having several months left before my next upgrade I didn't plan on buying anything. Lucky for me the store had a very friendly and helpful sales rep who not only recommended the windows phones over Android, but also told me I could save money by updating my plan. Now I have a new 710, and a lower monthly payment YEAH!!!!!

Well good old T-Mobile SteelSteve, they're good for something after all ? :D

Have you got your 710 yet to play with ?

What do you think of it if you do?

Yeah, they had plenty in the store so I do have it. It's much liter than my My Touch 3G. There's a bit of a learning curve, but visiting this site over the last couple of months has better prepared me for what to expect. In fact even though the sale's guy had the Radar for his personnel, I seemed to know more about both then he did.

Sometimes things just work out... I want to take a look at that phone I can't get one in on at&t but it looks like a great device I know Daniel gave it great reviews. When you've had it for a week or so write us a review I would like to hear your thoughts on the device.

Congratulations new Lumia owner. By all means tell us about your experiences with the phone.

Well one full day with the phone and here are my initial thoughts. The main reason I chose the 710 over the Radar was for Nokia Drive. This has worked out well; my only complaint would be that the voice does not tell you the name of the exit, turn ect. only that you need to make a turn (I can live with that). I really like the messenger on the 710 better, as well as the people tile, live tiles in general. Build quality seems pretty good; I picked up a case for it today at t-mobile which makes it feel even better. I love the blacker blacks from the LCD display, and really haven't noticed any problem with whites or other bright colors. I have run into a few things I can't seem to figure out yet / having problems with but overall I am happy with my decision to leave Android.

If you find something that you don't understand, feel free to ask us. We are practically professional Windows Phone doctors. With Weebear running the hospital.

Not purposely trying to hijack the thread here but I got a Lumia 710 yesterday too! Setup E-mail accounts too. Connected to my work's Exchange.

Switched over from Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. No dissn' to Android since each platforms really learn from each others' strengths and weakness, but so far I like it.

Yeah, I'm on my second full day with it, and it just keeps getting better and better. I do have a question about onboard memory however. According to the phone I have a total storage of 6.28GB, and 4.33GB available. However when I connect to Zune it tells me I only have 3.8GB available. Is this because of the reserve memory? I've moved my reserve to 3%, what are others setting it to?

Yeah you can change your reserve space. I don't know what is for but it sucks space.
