I don't seem to be able to pin new note

Hello

I'm a musician and use my phone to rapidly record ideas that I have while they're hot (because otherwise I forget them).

Right now I'm stuck using Evernote because it's the only one that allows me to pin "New audio note" to the start screen. The GDR2 was supposed to allow me to do this with OneNote but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I have the GDR2 (I checked the version number with windowsphone.com).

Any advice? Something I might be missing? Something I'm not doing right?

Once you click on OneNote and see your "notebooks", hit the "..." and there should be an option to "pin new to start". I have it, 8X (gdr2).

It's not there. There's "Synchronize", "Synchronization status" and "Select pages".

Did you factory reset after updating?

How many NoteBooks do you have listed when you first open up Note ?

Make Sure Personal (Web) is default and close all the other by selecting on them see if that helps any ?

I seem to have only one (I cannot change to another and in Skydrive there's only one).

Maybe if I deleted it off Skydrive it will recreate it?

Read this, it may be related to gdr2 (which I do have)

Alright I got it. I had to create a new notebook in OneNote online and I was able to go to the section where I could pin New Note to start.
