I downloaded Windows 10 to my HP Desktop. New start menu I found was great, how can I get it working?

I downloaded Windows 10 to my HP Desktop. New start menu I found was great,

Today it appears that that new start menu with the apps & search has disappeared and seems to be as it was before windows 10 also the task bar when I click on notifications etc nothing seems to work.
