I dropped my surface rt (3 feet) and now the screen is like this.
There are no visible cracks on the glass and the touchscreen still working and flat cable is connected property.
A need to buy a new lcd??

Most likely yeah that will need a new one. Go to your local Microsoft store and tell them to check what's wrong with it and then go on from there....

I replaced the screen on a regular laptop. It was easy as pie. I've never looked at my RT on how to disassemble it. I have a skin on it, so I can't see any screws other than the ones along the bottom behind the kickstand. Are there screws all around the edge? How hard was it to disassemble and get to the inside?

I'm from Brazil. Here there is not microsoft support for surface. The most difficulty step is to gain access to the glass and LCD. LCD and glass are fused together and adhered to the case. But i think i can remove using a heat gun.
