JUST LIKE THE TITLE SAYS! I have had 7 android phones and they all suck...same ol' errors and problems, force close, reboot, endless flashing /tweaking and modding.. Now I have an htc trophy and I will never go back to the green idiot no matter what! JUmp on in to this thread and share you're past experiences!

I just checked out the new Galaxy S II phone for AT&T. I thought it would/could have made me switch, but I am not impressed. I'll just wait to see what Sammy has in store Thursday. I thought this phone would make me want to switch back to Android, but it didn't.

I jumped on the Android bandwagon with the Evo 4G. I thought it would completely blow me away. Instead I was disappointed with the laggy performance, horrible battery life, ugly UI, and an app catalog that is completely overloaded with crap.

I ditched it for an HD7 back in February, and haven't looked back since.

I feel you're pain guys...as far as the galaxy s seriers I felt it was the best android phones I have used. However, like the fascinate, it was plagued from day one although great for video/photo. I just think android is an amature os from crap icons to crap apps to laggy performance etc. Personally i don't think there will ever be an android that works right in every aspect. It's all hype from marketing...wp7 is far superior imo.

7? So far i've had one and it's been rock solid and stable. Never had to reboot or force close. Haven't flashed, tweaked or modded beyond what is available on the android market. It's fast and smooth.

I've had far more issues with crashing apps and hard lockups on ios.

The one Android device I've had was pretty stable. Wouldn't call it "rock solid", but I didn't hate it either. But I'm moving over to WP because I like the user experience better and because I see a buttload of potential in this platform.

It's never been a problem with stability for me, I just don't like the look/layout of Android. I've seen peoples "customized" androids and I'm still not a fan. I find the PC like app grid to be boring.

yeah, i had some problems with force closing and slow boot times. With custom roms it is even worse, only reason i done it was because my phone would not officially get an update.
Do you reckon it is more unstable because it is written in java while WP7 is C#?
Just a thought

Maybe so, and android does not use graphics acceleration. Probably why it is so laggy.
I have had droid eris, droid, droid 2, fascinate, droid x, droid inc, and finally nexus s4g, even google's flagship nexus is plagued. every one of those phones I mentioned has had multiple issues. When I was looking at phones before I got the trophy, I checked out the dual core droid x2: what a joke, It was slower than the x1 and finally at the store it did the famous android.acoreprocess force close! I put it right down and went for the trophy and havent looked back even once. IMO android is all marketing hype, and vzw pushes it on you. It's all in the os and not so much in hardware, I myself on the trophy with much lower hardware specs flies past the dual core android phones with ease.Like I said before I have grown to despise android...I mean for god sakes it wouldnt even send my emails half the time!

I don't hate it, but think it's over-glorified. The anti-iOS consumers have finally found an underdog that can compete with it and act like it's the second coming. It has its flaws like every OS which sometimes aren't easily fixed by XDA

Exactly...Would it kill google to create an android build that actually worked all around? I still say android users are beta testers..lol.
