I'm trying to flash mine, but I'm running into an issue. Whenever I open Product Support Tool for Store, I can't open the RM-985 (under "Product")--what gives? I've followed the directions so far to the letter.

I deleted the version of the Nokia Care Suite I had--it was more up to date than the one in the tutorial, which is why it was failing. Seems to be working now!

Do any of your guys screen jitter a bit when scrolling fast on the start screen or internet or any apps? I see text up and down like screen tearing for a millisecond.

I tried soft reset and hard reset but now just going to use the Nokia Recovery Tool .

Is there a difference between using hard reset and installing using Nokia Recovery Tool??

Yeah Nokia recovery tool is to repair the or reinstall the firmware. Hard reset is just reinstalling the os
