New Product Codes for the RM-985 variant. Looks like these are the ones sold from Microsoft, unbranded ROMs for NA

Interesting. The Lumia 830 specs on the Microsoft Store site suggest that they're RM-984s. They show the same LTE frequencies as the RM-984.

*EDIT: Never mind, they changed it. I doubt they were ever selling RM-984s to begin with... just had the wrong specs up.

Yeah I just saw them posted on a forum online. Either way, I can't test flash it since my prototype RM-985 is with the Lumia repair team due to the random restart issue. Hopefully they fix the issue somehow

Yeah I just saw them posted on a forum online. Either way, I can't test flash it since my prototype RM-985 is with the Lumia repair team due to the random restart issue. Hopefully they fix the issue somehow

It'll be interesting to see if they do... my RM-985 restarted twice today. It had previously never restarted more than once in a day.

It still occurs unfortunately, but I think it's a software issue. It's not really a big deal, but I'd rather it not happen. It's not enough to make me change phones... I really love my 830. My OS version is 8.10.14157.200

I don't think so, the firmware version is similar to the Rogers variant so it's mostly the similar version as other variants

Install Weather from Microsoft, enable it to change lockscreen background, enable feature in Glance under settings

This version of SO 8.10.14219.341 from developers preview is the same as the income OTA ?

Okay, just a headsup. The prototype RM-985 was sent to Microsoft repair for the random restart issue. Microsoft replaced it with a brand new RM-985

It came with the box, and 2 new replacement covers, one white and one orange (I already have the original white cover and battery). This one has the product code for the model sold unlocked in Microsoft stores. Hopefully this one doesn't disappoint.

You need the updated Denim firmware to enable those features.

That is soooo tempting but my 830 Is working fine . So ima take the approach if it ain't broke don't fix it
