So the seller on eBay does not mention AWS bands enabled on this phone but looks like folks are able to get HSPA+ on this device. Can someone confirm that this device indeed supports AWS by going to the field test mode and checking the UARFCN bands on 3G? Plus if AWS is indeed enabled I suppose this can be flashed with the Rogers firmware since it closely resembles the specs of the Rogers variant minus the AWS.

Well I can't go in the field test mode
What I am able to get is :
2g: G/E
3G : G/E/H/H+ on both 1700/ 2100 and 1900/2100
4G: G/E/H/H+/LTE on both 1700/2100 and 1900/2100
How do I know ..I treble back in fourth to cities who have tmobiles native coverage and refarmes areas .
Essentially it works life if it was a T-Mobile phone

Someone posted a picture of the Rogers variant which is the RM-985. Looks like you guys should soon be able to flash your devices to the release firmware

Going by this is it safe to assume that the RM-985 (Rogers version) would have the WCDMA AWS band?

im not so sure what bands rogers uses because im using the RM-985 from Latin America. though uses say that if you use the rogers phones on T-Mobile it works perfectly.

Well I would say if you're skeptical then hold off on that :) Reason I am sure that the 7R CV is the variant for Latin America (Mexico mostly) is because my 925 which is the pentaband T-Mobile variant has the firmware product code name as LTA 7R CV in its name, same is the case with the unicorn 1520.3 that supports pentaband LTE. Based on these assumptions I would have flashed my prototype RM-985 if I had bought it. I still want to buy it but the seller hasn't relisted it or responded to my questions :(
