I also get the letter L for LTE..I'm with Koodo which is Telus and my speeds are pretty good! I get like 68mbps down... I wonder if it is carrier side that they show whether it shows LTE or L???

What app to use for data speed test that also shows whether the cellular connection is LTE or not?

speedtest.net or just search speed test in the store edit: also when testing make sure your wifi is off to use just your DATA

Finally, after a month, I have LTE in my status bar. I found an AT&T support chat rep who provisioned my phone with a "shadow IMEI" from a Lumia 640XL. I wonder how long it will last.
