I Hope You Don't Get The Flu

I never get a flu shot, except when I had to in the military. I rarely get the flu. I think I've had the flu maybe 3 or 4 times in my life and it only last like 3 days. On the 3rd day I get real hot and the fever breaks.

I just got over this years strain of the flu and it was a kicker. It lasted a week. I couldn't eat anything. I had joint pains and the a couple nights of backaches that kept me awake all night.

My wife gets a flu shot every year and always tells me to, but I never do. Next year, I am getting a flu shot. [BOX]:smile:[/BOX]

Wow! I'm glad you're feeling better now.

Weird thing is I got the flu last year around the same time as you, but I get flu shots every year. Apparently I got a strain last year that was different from what was in the 2012 shot. But I'll say the shots work, since I've been getting them for 20+ years, and that was the only time so far that I've gotten sick.
