I want my 8gigs back..... "other" category taking alot of memory

My other folder is 10.3gb
I do have a lot of maps, but that's basically it. I have had those maps from the very beginning. And the folder keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Its seems each time an update is downloaded it gets saved and adds up, it never gets overwritten or deleted after installation.
Very aggravating...

I am now up to 4.60gb in the other folder.
Lets hope the new firmware rolls out soon. Im on EE-UK. I don't really want to wipe this 920 just to install an update...

Folks, simply update the software to the latest firmware v1232.5957.1308.00xx and after check this.

Yeah but when's this firmware being pushed out? I'm sure we've seen the video demo that Nokia has implemented a mechanism to clear the "other" nonsense but when will regular users get that?

Just for the info 1308 fw doesn't have any option to delete what is inside the other category on..

The other folder was not the biggest problem, were temporary files, see.
After a day I installed.

So I did a cleanup.
