I want to switch from but be honest - what will I absolutely miss from iOS?

I'll tell you something though, you can bet your life that Apple won't sit back and do nothing about those live tiles. It's only a matter of time before the icons on iOS begin showing live data.

It's already possible as the calendar app proves. It changes the date everyday. So how long before Apple rolls out API's for devs to access that feature for weather apps, games etc.

One thing Apple does well is take other people's ideas and advance them. Also, having seen how quickly they updated the iPad with beefier processor and more ram, they must have something in mind for iOS 7 that requires some more tech.

I predict you'll see those static icons becoming live within a year. Two at the most.
