I would like use Google Assistant to add items to my MS To Do lists. How do I do that?

I am using an a phone running with android version 9. There doesn't seem to a way to set the default app in the settings. Given that my evokes are going to be doorstops, I would like to find a convenient way to quickly add items to lists using MS To Do.

I use the To-Do app on Android and I don't think it has the feature that you are looking for.
