I'd like to see a Windows phone with a waterproof feature like Sony Xperia phones

I'd want Sony to make one too, if only to bring BIGPADDY and his cake back.

That said, every Japanese OEM makes waterproof phone nowadays.

In fact, the Fujitsu IS12T speaks to you from the bygone era of Windows Phone 7.
 
Be careful what you wish for. While waterproofing is a great asset to a phone especially if you are an outdoors type of person it can cause issues in itself. Sony Z3 Compact and its big brother the Z3 have dreadful audio quality in video recording. Could this be caused by its waterproofing? I think it might. Waterproofing is something I like and appreciate but not if it muffles sound.
 
Nokia device are durable enough to endure usage in a rain but don't try to dive it.
After all you not using smartphone for diving. And if you did what will you did with it

I'm thinking more as accident protection. Waterproofness can go a long way.
