Ignore User Function

I have just started using the ignore user function now that the Android troll is in the list of "top posters" in WP Central. Is there any way to block embedded quotes from people on your ignore list? It renders the ignore user function worthless if you have to scroll through all of their posts in embedded quote form. Thanks!

I think that's just the way that vBulletin works.

It's good that you're blocking people you don't want to hear from, but if you do see trolling behaviour in the forums please use the "report post" button (

) to report it to the moderators. This will enable us to respond and deal with any issues when needed.

Thanks for the response, Aperture. I wish I could block it but I'll just not read it. I don't want to report any individual posts because this is a systematic trolling situation where a person who is an exclusive Android user is constantly confronting Windows Phone users to the extent that he is one of the top posters in terms of numbers on this site. I don't expect that you would ban him, but there are quite a few WPCentral posters who consider that behavior to be trolling. I suppose one of the perils of having four distinct Mobile Nations forums is that there will invariably be those few individuals, as here, that cross over just to antagonize users of a different OS. That is the situation I am referring to and I will just ignore the poster, but I hope that Mobile Nations will perhaps develop a policy in the future for this more unique form of trolling. Thanks again!
